n_for_nancy.jpgIt’s no big secret that the NHL isn’t even one of the “Big Four” sports leagues anymore. The Dallas Stars know it, and they’re taking aim at the NBA and NFL in a new round of billboard ads. One reads, “The only thing our refs shave is the ice,” in an obvious slap at the NBA’s Tim Donaghy scandal. Another reads, “One game a week? Is the N in NFL for Nancy?” Which lead me to wonder, is that ad homophobic and sexist, or just sexist?

“I think it’s hysterical,” Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban told the Dallas Morning News. “Good for them. It’s a fun ad.” -Cyd Zeigler jr.
