Note: Every week, I pick games against the spread on the Michael Irvin Show on ESPN Radio, and I’m putting them on our blog.

This week the game I'm most up-in-the-air about is my first pick, the Dallas-St. Louis game. St. Louis won last week, but their offense still doesn't look good. And will Romo play or not? I'm going out on a limb with this one, so bear with me. (My picks in bold.)

Dallas Cowboys at St. Louis Rams +7
That's a full touchdown the 'Boys are giving up without two DBs, their No. 2 running back and a quarterback with a bad pinkie.

New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers -3
The Saints may have Colston and Shockey back, but it’s the loss of Mike McKenzie that will have Steve Smith running over the Saints secondary.

San Francisco 49ers at New York Giants -10.5
It's an early game for a West Coast team to get up big for. The Giants have given up just 12 points/game at home. Will they score 24 against the Niners? Maybe in the first half alone.

San Diego Chargers pick 'em at Buffalo Bills
Yeah, the Chargers have an early game in Buffalo too, but I see a let-down game for the Bills defense, especially with Aaron Schobel missing from the pass rush.

New York Jets at Oakland Raiders +3
It's a long trip from New York to Oakland, and I see the Oakland secondary actually having a good day; look for Nnamdi Asomugha's first interception this season.

Baltimore Ravens +3 at Miami Dolphins
The Ravens were the only team to lose to the Dolphins last season, and don't think for a second that their defense has forgotten that.

Last week: 4-2. Season: 17-15-1
