Photos: U.S. soccer in training

The U.S. men's soccer team led favored Brazil, 2-0, at halftime of the final of the Confederations Cup in South Africa. Then the Brazilians showed why they are among the world's elite by scoring three goals for a 3-2 win. The U.S. is kicking itself after blowing a two-goal lead, and showing it is not yet ready to take that next step on the world stage.

Prior to the team leaving for South Africa, our contributing photographer Brent snapped some images of the team in its Southern California training camp. Check out the gallery here.
