Wrestler Hudson Taylor is trying to get as many athletes as possible to show up for a NoH8 photo shoot, Monday Nov. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Hoboken, N.J. Taylor, an assistant wrestling coach at Columbia, is one of the volunteer organizers for the shoot and describes the goal:

The shoot is a traditional open NOH8 photo shoot (i.e. most people will probably come in white T-shirts as seen in the classic NOH8 pics). My goal is to have people come out in their capacity as members of the sports community, similarly to how I did in my singlet and headgear. Whether you are a coach, athlete, parent of an athlete, sports fan, umpire/official etc., you can take your NOH8 photo in a sports jersey or with a piece of equipment, like a basketball.

There are relatively few athletes in the NoH8 campaign, and Taylor is working to correct that. He said he already has a former Rutgers soccer player and now a coach who will be bringing other coaches in for the shoot. Taylor will also try to get Columbia athletes to come out.

So far, 435 people have signed up to attend on the NoH8 Facebook page. That's impressive considering there is a $40 fee for an individual photo and $25 for each member in a group photo. The event will be held at The W Hoboken, 225 River Street, Hoboken, N.J. 07030.
