DC United is first MLS team to create 'It Gets Better' video

Stay connected for news and updates

The DC United are the first Major League Soccer team to create and 'It Gets Better' video (watch after the jump). In fact, as far as I know they're the first non-MLB pro team of any other sport to make a video. It features United players Josh Wolff and Clyde Simms. This one also has the distinction of being the first to include game footage. These teams just keep elevating the level of video!

The video is to help promote DC United's "Night Out" for gay fans on Sept. 21. In fact, they're playing Chivas USA, which held an Equality Night a couple weeks ago, and which has a couple players who have appeared in the NOH8 campaign. The event is organized by the Federal Triangles Soccer Club with Team DC a presenting sponsor. Tickets for the United Night Out are $25.
