"Jerk" doesn't seem to accurately describe a man accused of raping a number of boys. Nonetheless, former Penn State football defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has received the lowest honor afforded by our readers on Outsports and has been named our "Jerk of the Year."
With 40% of the vote, Sandusky received more than double the votes of second-place-finisher Tim Tebow, who racked up 17% of the vote. Anti-gay-marriage activist Damian Goddard tied with Jocks who blow off their 'fag' comments with 12% of the vote. Anti-lesbian Nigerian soccer coach Eucharia Uche got 11% and former New York Giant David Tyree received 9% of the vote.
