The Associated Press is reporting that R&B superstar Beyonce will be the main attraction of the halftime show for Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3 in New Orleans. With her female following, it’s a great choice given how much the NFL is trying to attract more of a female following (who would have thought 10 years ago the entire month of October in the NFL would be dominated by the color pink). Beyonce’s also one of the very few true superstars who reaches audiences of all races, ages (well, except for my Gramma) and sexual orientations. Great choice.

She previously sang the National Anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII between the Patriots and the Panthers. I wonder how much she'll be singing at the Brooklyn Nets games….

Now the big question: What will she perform? Given the Super Bowl’s all about winning a ring, I’d bet my house she’ll seen “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it).” What else do you think she should sing?
