Stay connected for news and updates

Former NFL player Wade Davis, who came out publicly on Outsports last spring, has had quite a year. He worked heavily for Barack Obama's re-election, he has been on a whirlwind speaking tour, and now he's been named one of The Root's 100 most influential black Americans. Also on the list are other 25-45-year-olds including LeBron James and Frank Ocean. Congratulations to Davis on the strong recognition!
