Jim and Cyd were at Gay Bowl XIII in Phoenix last weekend to watch the San Diego Bolts win their second consecutive Gay Bowl championship, this time over the Washington Generals. And with Cyd's shift to officiating, Jim became the only person to play in every single Gay Bowl. Pretty impressive!
As a gay-marriage ballot measure builds momentum in Oregon, three pro-sports teams — the Trail Blazers, Timbers and Thorns — have all expressed team support for marriage equality. It's a huge step that shows how mainstream support of same-sex marriage has become.
Fallon Fox's latest bout was her first professional loss. That didn't stop mean-spirited fans and fighters from continuing the nonsensical attack on her with claims of unfairness. Despite all the hate, Fox is focused on recuperating and getting back in the gym to train for her next fight at some point next year.
