Gold-medal Olympic divers will be judge and trainer on the new reality show

Gold-medal Olympic divers Greg Louganis and David Boudia are the stars of ABC's upcoming new reality show, Splash. In the show the duo, who worked together as pupil and mentor leading up to the 2012 Summer Olympics, will train and judge 10 celebrities in a 10-meter platform diving competition. Several of the contestants are professional athletes, including NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and NFL Pro Bowler Ndamukong Suh.

The promos show the athletes in board shorts, but will they be put into bikini-style speedos for the competition? It would certainly undermine the credibility of the show if they didn't, but can you imagine Suh in a bikini? It could be classic television.

It's great to see Louganis having a resurgence in his career. He's the subject of an upcoming documentary, he was instrumental in the success of the U.S. diving team in London, and now this.

The show premiers March 19 on ABC.
