Bernie Sanders may be the only senator - or politician for that matter - who has the wisdom and courage to write a column titled "What Can We Learn From Denmark". The essential difference between the USA and other developed nations with more civilized laws is our unwillingness to consider ourselves a team. Instead we glorify competition with ourselves while others are winning the match. We pit state against state, county vs county, cities fight cities instead of finding ways to cooperate and reap the benefits of efficiency. This gives lots of "choice" to a few and little real choice to the majorities.
