Boston Marathon bombing victim Jeff Bauman and his rescuer, Carlos Arredondo, were honored at the May 28th Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park.
Jeff Bauman, who lost both leggs in the Boston Marathon bombings, and Carlos Arredondo, who helped rescue Bauman, threw out ceremonial first pitches before the game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.
This is an incredible event considering where they were a little over a month ago. It is wonderful to watch and didn't receive enough media attention.
Sorry, there is no gay angle to this story but I can tell you that some of the people in attendance were out and others are hoping to coming out in the future.
