An ongoing debate among gay sports fans has been the difference, if any, between sexy and pretty. It takes an eye for candy to spot pretty. But you need to know something more about the person to decide on sexy. Pretty is in the brain while sexy is in the mind. Pretty can be measured - usually symmetry is the standard - whereas sexy can have a crooked nose or imperfect figure. Admittedly pretty and sexy can inhabit the same space. But ego usually takes the place of sexy when a guy is very pretty. Some guys even resent being considered pretty. Rarely do they resent sexy.
