The Canadian Olympic Committee has released a new video in support of its #OneTeam initiative aimed at building inclusion for LGBT athletes, coaches and fans. The video features LGBT Canadian athletes Connor Taras, Anastasia Bucsis, Rosie Cossar and others sharing their stories, along with elite-level coaches and administrators expressing messages of support.

The COC has made a commitment to building an inclusive environment in sports that exceeds the efforts of any other nation's Olympic committee. It recently hosted a forum on LGBT sports issues in Toronto, featuring partners from across Canada and the United States. Partnerships with You Can Play and Egale Canada ensure the COC is up-to-speed on training and educational practices on LGBT issues in sports. The COC is taking its message to youth, with the goal of reaching 1 million students by 2016.

More will surely be coming from the COC and its #OneTeam initiative as Canada plays host to the PanAmyou Games this July.
