What's the cutest team in the field? Iowa. Even with Luke Recker’s kneecap on the fritz, 6’8”, 245 pound force Reggie Evans is enough to make you wanna get busy in a cornfield.  Penn State.  Not only do they have two very handsome brothers playing together, they have at least a half dozen other very hot guys - not a bad one on the whole team. Kansas.  Eric Chenowith was my favorite Stud of the Week during the regular season and Jeff Carey is hot too.
What dark horse is out there who could surprise and win it all? When’s the last time this happened, NC State, 1982? Highly unlikely, but, the other team playing in memoriam, Ok State.  Arkansas.  If there's one coach in this tournament who can turn nothing into something, it's #7 Arkansas' Nolan Richardson. #5 Virginia in the South.  They were hot before the Acc tournament and I think they could bet it going again.
What Top 4 seed has the best chance of losing in Round 1? Illinois or Mich State, especially after stinking up the United Center. Kansas.  How they got a #3 seed I don't understand. #3 Mississippi in the Midwest by Iona.  An overrated team against an underrated Iona, great potential for an upset.
Do 65 teams work? No. It’s bad enough that the Winthrops and East Cupcake State’s are involved to begin with.
Hell, I want a double-elimination tournament, so I can't frown too much on this little inconvenience. No, let the major conferences suffer with one less at-large team in the field.
What team got robbed with a bad seed? Monmouth. If they’d gotten the play-in game, they’d face tenuous Illinois. Instead, they get Duke. #6 Texas.  What was the committee thinking?  Texas has an RPI rank of 9, played a tough non-conference schedule, and are on an 8-1 run. #3 Boston College in the East.  No way should the regular season and conference tournament winner of the Big East be treated to a #3 position.
What team got a gift with a good seed? Georgia State. First, an opener against a team that can’t score in Wisconsin, then the emotional, win-it-for-Coach grudge match against Dreisell’s old Terps. Two wins would get them a trip to Disneyland.  Illinois.  I just don't get why they not only got a #1 seed, but they got to stay in their own region.  They were 9-7 against tournament teams, didn't even get to the Conference Tournament Finals, and had an RPI of 6. #7 Penn State in the South.  They should have gotten a #8 at best; maybe the cute brothers on the team swayed the committee.
What team would have been your 66th chosen? UC Irvine. You can’t tell me they don’t have talent comparable to Hampton, Northwestern State, (and Northwestern U. for that matter). Richmond.  They won their conference but were banned from the conference tournament because they're going to the A-10 next year. Richmond.  They are being punished by their old conference for moving up to a better conference next season.
What double-digit seed has the best shot at the Final Four? Hofstra. If Duke falls in the East, the region is full of skitzo teams and becomes wide open.  Even though I think they will lose in the first round, #10 Georgetown could be the team. #11 Georgia State in West, but it is not going to happen.
Who will be in the Final Four? Stanford.
Duke (easy road).
Arizona. (remember they’re playing in memoriam too).
Texas. (gotta throw in a longer shot).
Stanford - The best team in the country.
Kentucky - Peaking at the right time.
Arizona - Getting better every week.
Texas - The South is anyone's Region and Texas is playing well now.
Maryland.
Illinois.
Florida.
Duke.
Who will win it all? Stanford. Mature, smart, experienced, stunning execution at times. Reminiscent of the early’90s Duke teams. Kentucky.  They still haven't quite peaked, which is perfect.  They are a younger team that can beat anyone. Illinois.  Depth is the name of the game with this team. The bench alone would be a #7 or #8 seed if they were a team by themselves.
Who's got the best uniforms? Duke’s black roaddies. The classic yet modern look UCLA tried (and failed) to go for with its black and blue unis. Gonzaga.  Blue and white - perfect sized shorts - and good-looking guys in them. Michigan State, I love the simplicity.
Baggy shorts or tight shorts? Baggy. Tight is way too last century. Baggy.  I love low hangers. Baggy.  Watching ESPN Classic is a riot when they have the older games on and the guys are in those tight shorts. You couldn’t see much anyway.
