Sept. 22, 2001
Weather. Sunny, warm, mid-80s.
Turnout: A record 27
Offensive MVP: Pete, who was extremely effective in his stint as Green team
QB. He must have had an insane QB rating.
Defensive MVP: Rick, who came all the way from Solvang and proved to be an awesome rusher.
Move over LT.
Catches of the Day: Doug's sliding grab in the end zone for a touchdown; Demond's over-the-shoulder grab in the middle as a linebacker swiped at the ball; Jim's catch with hands and face that went for a 60-yard TD.
QB Merry-Go-Round: We had six guys behind center during the game and some of it was not pretty.
Defensive Play of the Game: Demond's interception and weaving 75-yard return for the score.
Prime Time.
Welcome Back: Great to see regulars David, David and Charlie, along with newcomers Rick, Andrew and Christopher.
Fashion Alert: Everyone remember to bring a white and a dark shirt.
Brain-Dead Award: Me, having forgotten 90% of what happened. I need to write this stuff right after the game. Just enjoy Brent's pictures!
