Outsports Discussion Board _ TV, Movies, Music, Books ... _ Nascar based reality show

Posted by: Zeno Apr 23 2006, 11:18 AM

I was looking for the thread about the nascar based reality show in development. I can't find it. It was in Other sports so maybe it is better placed in TV topic.

From the 50 contestants, the ones who get most votes in internet voting until July will have the chance to be in the show. From 15 participants, every week one will be eliminated.

Sonic asked for support for his friend Ron Wolf who is in the top 50.

I have been there daily to vote. From the homepage, http://www.racinforalivin.com
go to Vote section. Then on the voting page you scroll down until you find the Ron Wolf banner, click on the button besides his name and finally scroll down at the bottom of the page to register your vote.

There are no voting restrictions. Voting many times is encouraged.

It's like an American Idol for race car driving!

If it can entice more people to go to the show's website and vote for Ron Wolf... on theit homepage you'll find a link to enter for drawing of two travel bags offered by Bell racing. Enter once a day. Think it's until the end of next week.

Also Ron is looking to promote in public media (not internet based) so if you have connections that could help. He is near Seattle but he can do national networks also! eek! It seems to be difficult to be in the media.
