I don't know if anyone else has asked this before, but does anyone think Terrell owens might be gay? has he had any girlfriends, is he married? I mean his body language is very flamboyant. I have this funny feeling that he and Sanders are on the DL, anyone agree?

i was thinking....what if owens criticized jeff garcia in the media because they were lovers and garcia ended the relationship because he couldn't deal with being gay and telling his family and terrell got angry and decided to out him in the media knowing that jeff wouldn't say anything and risk outing himself. crazy...

To me, the whole T.O. story is tiresome. He is simply not worth the energy on any level.
It's funny how quickly the cops changed their story despite initially writing it up as a suicide attempt.... T.O. lawyers were all over that one....
But why don't we throw a quote at T.O. in regards to the "suicide attempt" versus "mixed up medications".... "If it looks like a rat, it smells like a rat, then it must be a rat."
With drug tests and medications so heavily scrutinized by blood tests and regulations by the professional sports organizations, how oculd this medication error have occurred unless he took it on purpose or was taking something not prescribed to him? I am sure he is limited in the scope of meds he is permitted, just as all pro athletes are....?

Sanders = Deion Sanders?
I know someone (ex-NFLer) whose flamboyant body language has caused me to suspect that he's gay - although he's toned down his mannerisms for his latest gig.
Oh, and I know a Heisman Trophy winner who also gets my gaydar working in a big way...

Hahah - yeah him too. He was not who I was referring to, but it's interesting that both he and his twin bro have Asian wives (just the whole "odds" of that happening is, well, odd - especially since they grew up and went to school in Virginia, and have never spent an extended time in an area w/ a huge Asian population). And as "up-p.c." as this sounds...in some black circles there has been the discussion that a lot of gay and/or DL men gravitate toward white/"other" women b/c they feel that their "secret" is a lot less likely to be detected by them. The thinking with many is that white/"other" women may not be as able to detect certain "characteristics" in black men as well as black women.
And one of the men whom I was referring to originally has been known or rumored to only deal with white women (he is black). He supposedly has a white wife or longtime s.o. tucked away somewhere (whom I'm wondering if he even spends much time with...I mean how could he w/ his "schedule"?). His s.o. definitely doesn't seem to be much of a prioritiy in his life.

Yes, Deion sanders. Look at the way he sticks up for Owens all the time. I have wondered about Reggie Bush as well, =0). He has some modeling pictures that will make you faint.

I don't get a gay vibe from Deion Sanders or Reggie Bush. Neither of the Barbers, for that matter, strikes me as gay. TO, however, is a very different story... I would have loved to have heard his interview with Wendy Williams. I can only imagine what she'd have to say: "How You Doin'? She's had on other NFL players, like Muhsin Muhammed and Steve Jackson. Both have said that they observed homosexuality in the locker room.
In any event, there are far more promising suspects than the above mentioned players. Most of them are not well known, because the greatest number of players (and thus gays) are journeymen. There are gay stars, of course, in the NFL (two come to my mind), but they'll never be the majority.

I haven't really gotten a gay vibe from Deion, either - although I saw one recent pic of him in which he was dressed more "metrosexual" than I would expect from him, lol. T.O. has displayed some "gay" touches - but if he is gay, he certainly is working overtime to "cover his tracks". For example, I have caught wind (and have seen some actual "evidence" of this ) that he likes (or liked) to engage in phone sex with random female fans. And I've heard that he has three children by 2 or 3 different women (this info seems pretty credible, too). And word is that he is promiscuous w/ women - that he couldn't (or didn't even try) to stay faithful to his ex-fiancee. In fact, what allegedly prompted his now ex-fiancee to break up with him is that she found out that some woman was pregnant with T.O.'s fourth child.
Homosexuality on display in the lockerroom?! Wow - what happened to, "if we find out a teammate is gay we'll beat the living $%@&* outta him"?!

Did you see the way that teammate picked up Bush and slung him over his shoulder after Bush scored that touchdown last week? I thought it was so cute, and kinda "gay". I love all of that homoerotic affection between those fine football players.

Some people have vivid imaginations and/or like to indulge in wishful thinking.
Ok. I get it. It's just good clean fun. Reggie Bush gay? That's funny. Well Joe, since you like to use your imagination, let me describe Drew Brees' interview today on FSN's PFP (Pro Football Preview). One of the moderators (can't remember which one) was interviewing Drew and asked, "I was in the hotel the other night and saw you and Sean Peyton (the Saints coach) "cuddling" in the corner, going over the playbook for the Saints game with Philadelphia on Sunday. Is that right?" Drew and the other ESPN moderators starting laughing their asses off, especially Jason Sehorn and Eddie George. Drew finally said, "Don't do that to me. I know you wanted to join in. Please, don't be jealous". The moderator who asked Drew the question then said: "I'm not jealous. I was "cuddling" with Reggie Bush". I was sorta surprised that Drew laughed off the whole thing and had fun with it. Some straight guys would have blown a gasket (Tom Cruise?).
There you go, Joe. Drew Brees. Reggie Bush. Cuddling with men. Live that fantasy, bro.

Funny! I just posted the same interview in another thread before I saw this one. You remember it better than I do.
It was the thrill of the week for me. Especially that big grin on Brees's face the further conversation went. I could just run my tongue all over that birthmark of his when he does that.
Edit to add: I think straight guys want to call TO gay because he is such a blowhard. Gay guys like his body and attitude.
I was surprised at hearing this guy lecturing about the Eagle's mistakes walking down the street with his girlfriend who was obviously just indulging his weekend athlete fantasies. I guess we all have 'em.

To me it sounds like the Brees chat with whomever was just a bunch of juvenile straight guys. Here's a possible translation:
Interviewer: "Ha ha, you and the coach are gay!" Brees: "Ha ha, you're jealous! You're the gay one!" All: "Gay gay gay! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

Straight guys want to call TO gay in part because of the juvenile attitude mentioned above and in part because he called Jeff Garcia gay. And I can think of plenty of gay guys who don't like his attitude one bit. Plenty. Of course, gay guys who don't follow sports may like his attitude but they're a whole different story.

Edit to add: I was absolutely floored by that post-game interview where he condescendingly complimented Drew and the rest of the crew for having the wisdom to finally realize they needed to get him the ball. What team guy!
Well they won and that's all that counts right.....NOT!

Did you see on NFL network they showed a clip of Bill Parcells shaking his head at the way T.O. celebrated after his third touchdown? I really feel for parcells, his head must feel like its going to explode. I wonder if T.O. would've been just as happy if he had the same performance and lost......probably.

I have heard that also. Many black guys on the DL claim that "supposedly" white women will be more down with freaky sexual stuff then black women. As a black guy I find the whole DL stuff sad but I will say that in regard to the Barber brothers choices in mates I can see why. There have been quite a few Asian gymnist and skaters whom I have found really attractive but in the football world the guy for me is Troy Polomalu.

Uh, should Eddie George be joking with anybody about being gay? Not that I'm saying he is, but...how you doin'?
As for Tiki and Ronde and their Asian-AMERICAN wives, uh, there are Asian-Americans all over, and nevertheless, pro football players--of any race--probably have few problems finding the kinds of women or men they want. Especially when they're as stunningly gorgeous as Tiki and Ronde. BTW, Tiki's strongly hinting that he's going to retire after this year and go into broadcasting. Maybe he can take over for Katie Cutesy and make CBS Evening News worth watching again. He couldn't be any worse!

Forget Eddie George who could never win a big game against Michigan.
What about former The Ohio State Buckeye Robert Smith? Now he is a bright, well spoken, beautiful example of what a gay man should be.
Although my grandfather always used to tell me that he thought Eddie was gay because he could tell by his eyes; as a younger gay man that used to really freak me out. Anyway, isn't Eddie like MARRIED to a former member of soul group SWV? He can't be gay. And he goes to church. Dudes, like come on already. Married Christians are never gay!
And FYI, I know plenty of black women who don't care about their man having sex with men. We live in a country where a significant number of black men are serving or have served in the penal system. Some reports a few weeks ago actually linked the explosion in HIV rates in black American women to unsafe sexual practices in US prisons amongst black men. If DL Brothers are flocking to non-black women to me that's more of an issue of thinking that they can't "be" both black and gay. It is seen as a betrayal given racism in our country. (Like in the horrible film "Brother to Brother")

Forget Terrell Owens - Is Kurt Warner gay?! I was at the Raiders-Cardinals game yesterday. And like any red-blooded gay man, when there was a lapse in the game, I used my binoculars to check out the Cardinals sideline (originally to see if Dennis Green was blowing a gasket yet). He wasn't, but I saw Kurt Warner's hand resting on Matt Leinert's right ass cheek I've watched sports for most of my life so I know that slaps and pats on the ass are very common, but I saw Kurt grope Matt's ass, then slowly caress his right ass cheek! Needless to say, my attention was diverted from the game because I wanted to see if he was going to do again. He did, but I don't think that Matt liked the attention. When Kurt went over to stand next to Matt, and gave him another pat on the ass, Matt put his hands behind his back to cover his ass, as if to say, stop coping a feel on my ass you pervert. I felt uncomfortable for him. I have to say that Kurt wasn't groping any other teammates, however. It's not wishful thinking on my part because I don't have a thing other either player, but I know what I saw. So, I ask again, is Kurt Warner gay?!

LOL - you had to have been dreaming this.
This is one of the reasons why T.O. attracts gay rumors. He loves to take pictures like this -

I doubt it. Not saying he couldn't be a very deep self-loathing closet case. Homophobes always are.
But that possessive sort of behavior toward a younger quarterback is more Warner's massaging of his own ego by appearing to be magnanimous enough to congratulate the young guy for doing what Warner no longer can, or more likely, giving false comfort when the young guy makes a bad play - just to rub in that the guy made a bad play. In that sense he reminds me of Ricky Gervais in the British (original) version of The Office - a bit lost.
Also don't forget that Warner is a very conservative so-called born-agian Christian, folks who make it their habit to tell other people how to live their lives, something I've always thought might have made him less than popular in a locker room full of guys who thought they already knew how to live their own lives and were especially annoyed at a relative newbie who thinks they don't.
I won't even go into that commercial he participated in recently to counter Michael J. Fox's support for stem cell research.

Yes, Robert Smith (former Minnesota RB) is stunning and smart, and had the good sense to walk away from football, but where are you getting that he's gay? Is Chris Zorich gay?
As for Black women not minding Black men sleeping with other men, I'm not sure what Black women you know, but most of the ones I know--relatives, friends, etc.--absolutely WOULD NOT want to be in a relationship with a man who was having same-sexual relationships on the side, especially if the women weren't told and there wasn't some sort of agreement. I think your generalized assertion really disserves Black women; yes, Black men in prison may engage in same-sexual experiences whatever their sexual orientation (as men of all races do in prison, BTW), but the acknowledgement of this does not translate into Black women accepted undisclosed bisexual or extra-relationship affairs.
Now, back to Terrell--why hasn't anyone mentioned that older white "daddy" he pals around with, whose story ended up contradicting Terrell's and his publicist's claims that he wasn't depressed and possibly suicidal?
