Vince Young gets Tennesee's first win after whats his face stunk up the field for 6 games. Looks like the owner made the right decision.

Young didn't do anything yesterday. That was alllllll Chris Johnson.

If the Titans had won that game in Pittsburgh to open the season, they'd be a completely different story.

VY is not our answer. At all. They're going to have a high pick this year - I hope they get rid of Young and take another QB.

It was nice to see the Titans and Young get their first W...but I wouldn't get too excited just yet about a win over the Jaguars 26th ranked pass defense.

I know that the ESPN cast don't like him @ all as a qb. They all had something negative to say...

He hasn't lived up to the hype that everyone expected of him right out of the U of TX.

While it was Johnson who was certainly the MVP of the game, where was all of that the previous 6 games? I think that something as simple as a regime change can bring a new attitude in players who are tired of losing every week? Would Chris have had that kind of game with Jake in as QB?

Yes. He has.

C.Johnson 57 yd. run (R.Bironas kick is good) Drive: 7 plays, 73 yards in 3:20
C.Johnson 69 yd. pass from K.Collins (R.Bironas kick is good) Drive: 2 plays, 75 yards in 0:54
C.Johnson 91 yd. run (R.Bironas kick is good) Drive: 5 plays, 99 yards in 1:50

Against Houston this year.

He's not leading the NFL in rushing just because of one game.

I mean, Kerry Collins obviously is no longer an answer, either. I just really don't see Young being the answer either. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

Mmm yeah wrong team re: Chris/Kerry. I don't know why I was thinking of the Panthers, who also need a QB change. But hey....it wasn't working so I think giving Vince a chance was the right move. They won with him as QB. Even thought it was more Johnson than him, they won. Perhaps Kerry would've been trying to throw more. Who knows. I agree that one game surely isn't enough to prove that the tide has turned for Tennessee, but a win is a win and its something they didn't have with Kerry as QB.

Titans have now won 3 straight since naming Young as the starter.

They haven't exactly beaten the cream of the crop. True test will come w/ the elite teams. If he does well w/ them then all hats off to him.
