Could it be that Eli Manning has been playing inspired football lately because he has developed a special relationship with his tight end? (New York Giants tight end Kevin Boss looks on during NFL football practice for Sunday's playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys Friday, Jan. 11, 2008 in East Rutherford, N.J.) New York Giants tight end Kevin Boss (89) talks with tight ends coach Michael Pope during NFL football practice. New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning smiles during NFL football practice.

Love to the Colts and Adam Vinatieri. Now this is the real SB stud! 4 SBs out of 5 showings! He has game winning kicks for two SBs winning it for NE. How did NE let this one get away?

Adam Vinatieri is a legendary kicker, no doubt about it. (Indianapolis Colts; Adam Vinatieri (4) kicks an extra point out of the hold of punter Hunter Smith (17) against the Kansas City Chiefs during an NFL football game in Indianapolis on Nov. 18, 2007. Vinatieri still follows his weekly routine: practice schedule, pregame warmups, preparation for kicks. He figures the consistency has made him the NFL's best clutch kicker).
However, when Adam misses a kick, it's headline news. "November 11, 2007 - 11:06PM SAN DIEGO...Playing in the cold rain of San Diego,...one of the top kickers missed a pair of short field goals. That was too much for the Colts to overcome Sunday, as Adam Vinatieri's shank of a 29-yard field goal with 1:31 left, followed by Peyton Manning's sixth pick on the final play of the game, sealed the Chargers' 23-21 victory."
But, I think Stephen Gostkowski is going to prove to have "better legs" for the Patriots this year. Certainly, Stephen is a lot younger than "old man" Adam Vinatieri.

The Patriots managed to advance to the AFC Championship game for the fifth time in the last seven seasons after a 31-20 victory over the surprisingly hungry Jaguars.
Nearly all of the credit for the Patriots' win goes to the powerful arm of Tom Brady and his dazzling display of strength and skill. (Brady's performance — 26-of-28 from 262 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions — ranks right up there with the most efficient in postseason history. Phil Simms was 22-of-25 with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the New York Giants' victory over Denver in Super Bowl XXI.)
As a result, New England will host the winner of the Colts-Chargers game next Sunday with a Super Bowl berth on the line.

Could Terrell Owens be the next John Amaechi? Maxim Magazine thinks so at http://www.maxim.com/StupidFun/Terrellowen.../11489/659.aspx Maxim sternly claims the following as evidence. "Terrell Owens OK, get out your checklist: Implied a teammate was gay, deflecting suspicion? Check. "August 11, 2004 BEREA, Ohio -- Browns quarterback Jeff Garcia says a comment made by ex-teammate Terrell Owens implying that he is gay is ridiculous and untrue." Tacky earrings that would make Liberace crap his panties? Check. Fined multiple times for dancing in the end zone? Check. Cried as convincingly as Hillary over another man? Check. Well, at least Cowboys fans still have Tony Romo." Does your gaydar go "beep, beep" as you watch the following video? Or, is Maxim Magazine just wacked out (as usual)? I will communicate your expert opinions and sage analysis to the Maxim Magazine editors. http://www.the700level.com/2008/01/video-terrell-o.html

Can little Eli Manning really follow big brother Peyton's footsteps just one year later into the Superbowl? (New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning answers questions during a press conference after practice at Giants Stadium Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 in East Rutherford, N.J. The Giants will play the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game on Sunday).

Love the Wes Welker picture. He and Matt Hasselbeck do indeed have the prettiest eyes in the NFL.
I agree totally that Wes and Matt have absolutely gorgeous eyes, but I think that Jay Cutler has stunning eyes, too! I don't think that there are many other guys in the NFL who have green eyes.

There's something about a man with long blonde hair and nice long legs that really turns me on. It makes me wonder if he knows he has that effect on people like me. (New England Patriots offensive tackle Matt Light (72) stretches his legs before football practice begins at the team's facility in Foxborough, Mass., Friday afternoon, Jan. 25, 2008. The Patriots will play the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII in Glendale, Ariz., on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008.)

I know you guys cannot get enough of Tom Brady. You want to deny it, but you CAN'T FOOL ME! Tommy Brady is such a sweetheart and the best quarterback ever in NFL history. That's why Randy Moss took a pay cut just so he could go play with Tommy, who is like the War-Daddy every NFL team always deserved and never got, so affectionate with his teammates and with a "Body By God," in my opinion.
Tom Brady first left girlfriend Gisele Bundchen’s Sunday morning, Jan. 27, 2008, to begin his journey to Super Bowl XLII.
Brady then went to Gillette Stadium Sunday for the Patriots’ Super Bowl sendoff. Tom Brady spoke to 15,000 adoring Patriot fans there. “Now this is Foxborough faithful right here,” Brady told a cheering crowd of about 15,000 after he reached the podium at midfield along the Patriots sideline. “We can just go ahead and play the game today. Thank you guys for coming out. We’re going down there for one reason,” he said. “That’s to bring a title back to Foxborough.”
After the Patriots pep rally ended, the players headed to a bunch of yellow buses with good luck signs on each of them and headed out. Brady was not wearing a cast on his right ankle and we can expect him to be healthy for the Super Bowl.
Tom then arrived later with the team at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, in Phoenix. The New England Patriots will play the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008.

And I just want thank everyone who has posted on this page for keeping things "thin" enough that I can enjoy the pics on my slow computer with average monitor diagonal cross-section.
