anyone catch Between the Lines on the Sunday ESPN about Pat Tillman.

Very good show with interviews of guys in the Ranger Unit, really informative and really makes you feel like you were there. Finally get to hear the true story

you can really tell he was very well respected by the guys he was in the unit with

I saw it. I really feel for his family, and for everyone who he fought with. What a tuf situation.

Sorry I missed it. Maybe they'll repeat. Did they mention that Tillman and Denver quarterback Jake Plummer were great friends in college and pros.

Plummer was interviewed on HBO special about Tillman and, though he has expressed opposition to the Iraq war, is a strong supporter of the troops. He even wanted to commemorate Tillman with his number on his helmet but it was disallowed by the NFL.

Which reminds me: Plummer is the only major athlete I can think of who has publicly expressed opposition to the Iraq War.

Sadly, there is more to this story. I just got this from MSNBC on how Tillman really died. This is horrific that the Pentagon would cover this up. War is neither glorious nor antiseptic, but truly, does it mean that justice must also be confounded as well? mad.gif
