Just curious about the impact of the re-election of Bush on the Chicago games. Have heard a few people who were planning on going to Chicago begin to express reservations about going to the US.
Just to be clear, I plan on going to Chicago although the political situation isn't making me feel too great

I think there's a lot of factors at play. For instance, people at risk of being turned away (HIV+ for example) might be thinking twice, or staying "f**k them, I'll lie and hide my meds." Some might feel they are protesting the administration by staying away. Others may feel they are giving the finger to Bush and supporting gay Americans by going.
For me, it's immaterial. What matters is the factors that make Chicago or Montreal the best place for me to go, hotels, friends, competition, social, etc.
You're lucky, Montreal will happen around you.
