Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the board... Now there's an ad for a free laptop by zapping or spraying a mosquito that makes the most annoying buzzing sound. This to me is 10 TIMES WORSE than the Western Union ad because that sound is excruciatingly annoying.

If you refresh, you'll get a new page load and thus a new advert from the list of possibles... but really... is there any need for an ad banner as noisy and offensive as that damn mosquito? And also, one can disable the ability of webpages to make a noise... or turn the speaks off... but these things impair other uses of the pc and make for more faffing around.
Clearly the ads are needed to generate revenue so we can continue to use this very nice site... but I think we'd all be thankful if that ad could be switched or changed!

Have not seen this ad but we'll check. Some of these ad sites swtich advertisers faster than we can keep up with them.

i just got a "Big Guns" ad with a woman's voice over that about made me jump out of my office chair. refreshing the page did pull up a quieter set of banners though.

I just got that too. I had tabbed browsing going as well and could not for the life of me figure out where that voice was coming from, especially because Outsports refreshes by itself.
