Saw the mention on the outsports front page about NIKE's new uniforms. Four schools: d'OSU, 'zona, 'cuse and the Gaytors will have the privilege of wearing them for their conference tourneys.

Ugly. butt ugly. Hate the combo of the skin tight jerseys and the super baggy, super long trunks. (was looking for a "puke" emoticon to the left, but didn't see one)

And for just $135 they can be yours too.

I saw this on Deadspin yesterday...these uniforms are actually kind of freaky to me. I think this is a continuation of the underarmour trend towards tighter athletic apparel. I think they're pretty ugly too (although the 'Cuse one isn't too bad), but I guess I can't complain about seeing Othello Hunter in that uniform.

I have to say I like them. I just wish they would have gone all the way and replaced those shorts with skirts.

Culottes!

Or maybe Kilts, traditional without underwear. Dunks would become really exciting.

Seriously, these things almost look like skirts. But as someone who loves upper body musculature, the skin tight jerseys are what excites me.

I personally think the uniforms suck... What the heck were they thinking in the design..

And probably 70% of college players will look GHASTLY in those tight tops. Either the player who is too skinny or the players who are big and extra beefy.

I hope this crap gets sent back to Nike design ASAP.

They look like Victorian women's bathing costumes.
