Suppose I'm cheering for Florida, although I'm kinduv annoyed by the whole rematch/repeat thing...
I do think Florida has the better team, in Brewer, Humphrey, and Noah...

Love for Oregon in the One Shining Moment montage - love for Vandy, too. Georgetown and UCLA also got some clips, moreso than other teams it seemed. Good tournament overall. Could have used some better first round matches, but from then on, a great event, and a pretty good championship game. But then again, my pick prevailed...

"One Shining Moment" is usually the best part of the tournament for me. Tonight's game was good though. The difference was the 3 point shots. Florida's were dropping and Ohio State's werent. Oden single handedly kept Ohio State in the game up until about 5 minutes left when Florida didn't break or become tight. But there were no long droughts of one team or the other not making baskets. It was a good game overall.

As much as I didn't want to see yet another Gator Championship, you gotta love what this team did: Deciding as a group to come back to defend their title....
Also, what UF has accomplished this past year is pretty unreal...
Man, since the mid 80's the state of Florida has 9 college football titles, 2 college basketball titles, and a couple of baseball titles thrown in for good measure...

This years championship trophy presentation was a sight to see.. It was a who's who of what players were waving other countries flags during the ceremony... I believe I saw Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic...(Last time I checked this was an American event)

Then ofcourse there were players who were up there with their children ( does my heart proud to see guys who are 18/19 with 2 year olds in their hands, such a positive roll model image for the kids watching and hoping to play college hoops).

....Winning back to back championships is a terrific acheivement....Though I must say alot has changed from 15 yrs ago when it was last acheived.

Think it's funny UF wins and repeats as national champions and no article or picture on the home page? No mention at all? If UCLA or USC had won we'd have a picture and an article...... AH gator haters..... must be a really hard time for ya this past 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to your Gators. Football and 2 straight years as basketball champs. Florida is the undisputed champs of basketball/football. Its not even close.

Thanks Gym! Just would have been nice to see an article on the home page. Repeating is a pretty significant feat. Would think someone would have written about it...

Complete domination by Florida but now they probably won't be ranked with the four juniors leaving. But nice to see the same starting lineup repeat.

I agree Wazzu, my Gators will probably not be ranked to start the year... but we were not ranked to start the 2005/2006 season when we had a bunch of sophomores starting... rememember them? Horford, Brewer, Green and Noah??? Anyone say Three-Peat????

Should be interesting to see what happens with the Gators man. I'm sure they'll bring it and be competitive in the SEC.
