Kopi Luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world, selling for between $120 and $600 USD per pound, and is sold mainly in Japan and United States, but it is increasingly becoming available elsewhere, though supplies are limited.
I always thought it was pretty gross too.

I hate to admit it but I had never heard of a "civet" before! Thank goodness for the internet!

Dammit.
So now I have to look for the "Civet Free" or "Civet Safe" coffee labels
...and I don't wanna know what the hell they do for the decaffeinated versions... do they use only spayed or neutered civets?
...do they count how much shit a civet can produce?
...and what else do they feed the civets?

Wow, I guess you really do learn something new every day, even if you don't want to! I'll stick to the cheap stuff they offer at work...it's free!

Yes, I will stick to the cheap stuff too. Civets are really cute animals. Related to the mongoose.
