How about the local D.C. Outsport's crew get together and go to a Nat's or Orioles game... any ideas? Regardless - a get together of some kind would be good for the group.. I would think Illini fan will be game.. ? wink

We've had a few in the past, and they have been totally fun, so I'd be up for it. Unfortunately, as I travel 2 - 5 days/week, my schedule will be a limiting factor - in fact, I won't even be able to attend the Nats Gay Day game, because I'll be on the road for work.

The Cubs play the Nats at RFK the weekend of July 21st. Just for reference...

So...I was looking at the National's schedule and it turns out I won't be here for the Cubs series (going home that weekend). BUT, I still want to catch a game with you guys. The Nats have the Marlins and Padres this coming week and then are out of town until the Cubs.

You guys want to go to either one of those series next week?

A group of guys get together (usually at least once or twice during each home stand) for drinks before certain games. They meet at different bars around Eastern Market about an hour before the game. The group is called G-Nats. There is usually something in the community section of Metro Weekly about them, and they have a Yahoo Group. I've been to several of their happy hours. It's a good group of guys.
