Me too, except I'm not thirsting for blood! Thanks for the pic of the hotties. Gotta love the day, drunken frat boys who don't seem to mind if you kiss them! Erin Go Braugh!

Someone sent me this joke...very fitting for this board! Enjoy...

Tale of the Irish Sausage

Shamus and Murphy fancied a pint or two but didn't
have a lot of money between them, they could only
raise the staggering sum of one Euro.

Murphy said 'Hang on, I have an idea.'

He went next door to the butcher's shop and came out
with one large sausage.

Shamus said 'Are you crazy? Now we don't have any
money left at all!'

Murphy replied, 'Don't worry - just follow me.'

He went into the pub where he immediately ordered two
pints of Guinness and two glasses of Jamieson Whisky.

Shamus said 'Now you've lost it. Do you know how much
trouble we will be in? We haven't got any money!!'

Murphy replied, with a smile. 'Don't worry, I have a
plan, Cheers!'

They downed their Drinks. Murphy said, 'OK, I'll stick
the sausage through my zipper and you go on your knees
and put it in your mouth.'

The barman noticed them, went berserk, and threw them
out.

They continued this, pub after pub, getting more and
more drunk, all for free.

At the tenth pub Shamus said 'Murphy - I don't think I
can do any more of this. I'm drunk and me knees are
killin'me!'

Murphy said, 'How do you think I feel? I lost the
sausage after the second pub.

Well our annual parade is tomorrow and it is supposed to be a beautiful day!

millerbeach, I am always good for a sausage joke.

sausage...it's just fun to say!

By the way j-ed, respectfully, you're a horn. sob. I lurve it.

...and I'm always ready for some sausage! (hee-hee) We already had a tragedy in Chicago...the first of many days of celebration. Someone visiting from Wisconsin fell off a bridge over the Chicago River and didn't make it to the water. It's very sad when a drunken hottie does something that results in a fatality. If you're gonna drink, ya gotta eat. Stay sane, stay alive. We've got the South Side Irish parade tomorrow, which is what most consider the "real" St. Patrick's Day parade. More drunken hotties! YAY!

They're saying it's suppose to be 60 on St. Patrick's Day in Chicago...that would be a true rarity! Usually, it's cloudy, foggy, rainy, with temps in the 30's. I hope it gets warm enough for those drunken frat boys to shed some shirts! smile.gif

So, I should forewarn the Depaul boys?

A little known fact outside Massachusetts is that St. Patrick's Day is an official holiday for the City of Boston (and public schools in Cambridge and Somerville). No, city workers don't get the day off for St. Patty's. Back in the day, the Irish politicians wanted the day off so they could go out and do what the Irish do on March 17th, but they knew that an official holiday for St. Patrick's just wouldn't fly. But whaddya know, as it so turns out, March 17th also happens to be Evacuation Day, the most significant day in Revolutionary War history for the City of Boston. The British were garrisoned in Boston while the Continental Army had laid siege outside for 11 months. Revolutionary forces mounted large cannons in Dorchester Heights, targeted toward the entryway to Boston Harbor, thereby preventing British ships from bringing in supplies. That broke the British, and they evacuated the City of Boston on March 17, 1776. Lo and behold, 234 years later, patriotic Bostonians are still celebrating that great victory! Mind you, Wednesday afternoon you could ask a thousand drunk Boston Irishmen (well, those who can still speak) what Evacuation Day is, and I'll bet not one could tell you.

Kiss Rob Kearney! He's Irish!! biggrin.gif
