Not everyone's team made the NCAA tournament, and so the NIT is the next best post-season tournament. My Cougs open up vs Saint Mary's which is an interesting first-round matchup.

Baylor beat Georgetown, 74-72, last night for their first post-season win since 1950!! They had a great run in the Big 12 tourney, but it wasn't enough to get them in the NCAAs after losing something like 8 of 9 down the stretch (they lost to Iowa State, for heaven's sake). Congrats to the Bears.

That was a nice win in Gainesville, where the Gators had lost only once this season. On to MSG!

Well now, we kicked some Irish ass in the Garden. One more game... I'm feeling good, but I'm afraid to jinx it.

Any time you beat Notre Dame is a good day--we were happy to oblige.

Good luck to the Spartans... we need a Big Ten sweep of the championships. Besides, I want to be able to say we beat the National Champs on their own court!
And I must say... who needs March Madness when you've got April Insanity! LOL

Sign that we are in the Biblical endtimes:
A godless, secular, state run institution known for football from the liberal elitist Northeast went out and won a basketball tournament by soundly defeating the premier Catholic and Baptist schools of higher learning.
They were thrown to the (Nittany) Lions. One could say.
