Michigan State vs UCONN
UNC vs Villanova.

A lot of people want to see a UCONN vs UNC matchup but it would be ironic if MSU and 'Nova made the finals. Should be some great games.

Predictions?

I'm thinking (hoping) it's MSU vs UNC in a rematch from December with all of our players back, and then MSU beats the Heels for the Championship...

Some of UConn's weaknesses came back to bite them, particularly having nobody who can knock the ball down regularly from the outside except Price and they did a good job on him. It was disappointing and sad that Austrie had such a poor year shooting as he's the true good guy on the team. Still I'm happy they weren't bitten until after they made the Final Four! Congratulations Michigan! Their winning is a great story for the state.

Congrats to Michigan State for making the FINALS and I think Thabeet needs to come back to college. He really got exposed in games vs elite teams in college bball. He needs to beef up big time and gain some toughness.

He definitely could use another year as he is not tough at all, doesn't have much of a shooting touch near the hoop and has poor awareness of the defense when passing the ball- but, from what I've heard, it's a done deal he's going (and for the reasons above I hope it turns out to be true). Still, he's exceptionally good at waiting on offensive players and timing his response to what they want to do- he definitely changes the game at the college level, but I doubt it will translate into much pro playing time anytime soon.

Congrats to North Carolina. They deserved that victory. Michigan State was totally discombobulated.

You know its a bad game when I would rather switch to The Hills on MTV than watch a snoozefest.

Michigan State got a beatdown but they will be back next year. I think the top 5 teams to start 2009-2010 are: Kansas, Duke, Purdue, Michigan State, and Syracuse!
