Maybe they didn't look hard enough.

20 subjects hardly seems like a representative sample. Though I'm guessing that if the researchers interviewed 200,000 participants, they still wouldn't find any men who don't look at porn. And if they had limited their study to gay men . . .

This is a big surprise? The research was restricted not only to straight guys, but guys in their twenties, who never experienced life without the Internet, since they were 10 years of old (That I find surprising! Ten-year-olds looking at porn? Somewhat creepy there!). It's so easy to find it! But what about those of us, who grew up before the advent of the Internet and live conventionally sexual lives? I'd theorize that all of us looked at porn in print form!

I did! Straight porn first, then I discovered the magazines that had men in them! Whoa, nellie!!! laugh.gif

I used to look at straight porn when I was young, and like BBC, discovered mags with men in them.

Then when I was 14 or 15, I discovered the real thing.

And at 18, discovered steam baths, (this was pre-aids).

Needless to say, for a long time I had no need for porn!

Guess they didn't even bother trying to find gay men who hadn't watched porn. What else would you do in a society that disparages the actual act?

I think they would have done better looking at straight men in the USA Bible Belt. They still wouldn't find any that never looked at porn but at least they could have found some bible-thumpers who would claim they hadn't, at least not since findin' Their Lord 'n Savior.

Now that would make an interesting study group.
