One of the guys from those recent Tiger Woods Buick commercials was an amateur golfer who has now lost his amateur status for a year because he accepted the car Tiger gives him in the ad. The USGA has rules that state an amateur cannot accept more than $500 at a single event.
I understand they need to have rules and all, but this is ridiculous. Tiger just walks onto the course with cameras hidden and gives the guy a car just for hitting the green. He wasn't entered in a golf tournament. A tad anal, if you ask me.
