SKIPPER Heath Streak and his side today touch down in London facing the hostility of anti-President Robert Mugabe protestors who say they have planned a string of hit-and-run strikes aimed at disrupting Zimbabwe's cricket tour of England.

As international pressure to isolate embattled Mugabe intensifies, several Zimbabwean exiles have joined forces with pro-democracy campaigners and several British legislators, including ex-sports minister Kate Hoey, to form a pressure group known as Stop the Tour Campaign, headed by left-wing human rights activist Peter Tatchell.

Shortwave Radio Africa, which broadcasts in Zimbabwe from London, has pledged to back the protests, with station manager Gerry Jackson saying the demonstrations would continue to highlight abuses in Zimbabwe.
