I have friends whose family came from Thief River Falls. The big news in TRF right now would have to be the new \"Yield\" signs on Fifth Street.

Expect a sellout for that game.

I lived in Grand Forks several years ago, while Thief River Falls I know, Warroad is a new one to me too.

This reminds me of a story from another message board. Before the 2003 Women's World Cup, the US team scrimmaged against the men's team from the University of Virginia. The US lost 3-1, and on the other message board I referred to, people made a huge deal out of it.

I, however, don't see a huge deal with it. I may take some heat for saying this, but by the end of high school, a fit man's body is much more powerful than a fit woman's body. Right now, women can compete technically and tatically with men their same age, but they can't really compete physically. Sure, there are exceptions, but overall, a result like this one isn't too shocking. An excellent club team can beat a good national team in any sport.
