Who's going to the Outgames?

I just put in for a few days off work, and am hoping to be in Montreal for the last 3 days of the Outgames.

We should have an Outsports rendez-vous. The previous Outsports get-together in Montreal a few years ago was a blast! Someone locate Seph: he can be our tour guide again and show us the best stripper bars--er, cultural attractions. wink

For those competing, let us know when and where so we can come and watch and cheer you on. Go Outsports!

I'll be there for the week. I still haven't decided whether I'll be swimming or sprinting.

And yes, we have to have a meet-up. Any ideas on where?

I'll likely swim. But just the 50 meters. I suck at swimming. But, that's kind of the point, right - participating? I've never competed in swimming before.

Travelpat, Cyd, and others... when you know your competition schedule, post it here so that Outsports fans can come and watch and cheer you on.

Cyd, perhaps there can be an Outsports bar night like you are having in Chicago.

I've got my vacation days approved and am looking forward to 3-4 days dans la belle province.

Hey Mark:
I'll be in Montreal for the full 10 days July 28 - August 7. I know the volleyball division I am playing is scheduled for play on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - August 2-4.

The only other place I know I will be at for sure at this point is the Team Toronto brunch. It is for Team Toronto members and takes place Saturday morning July 29th at 10:30AM at the Cafe Europeen on the upper level of the Hotel Bourbon complex at 1560 Ste Catherine East.

The honourable Bill Graham - leader of the Federal Liberal Party in Ottawa will be our guest at that brunch.
