Ouch. The surprising thing is to find out after all these years that Lampley dates women and has even been married three times. I always thought for certain he played on our team.

I used to watch him on channel 2, the CBS station in L.A., when he did the sports then transitioned over to the news for a while. He used to be married to Bree Walker, a news anchor who did the L.A. tour of duty before going back to San Diego. He was the reason I became interested in sports reports on the news and struck me as straight the whole time. This is a bit of a shock to read that he is accused of being an abuser though.

I'm always suspicious when allegations like these come out. For instance, the woman claims that he "threw [her] to the floor at a New York restaurant two months ago." Um, ok. Usually New York restaurants would have at least one other person inside to witness that, wouldn't you think? I would probably notice if a man threw a woman to the floor in a restaurant where I was eating. And that wasn't enough for her? The final straw was when her neck and back hurt two months later?

When the story sounds fishy, it usually is.
