Was wondering if anyone has any info on gay softball teams out here in the bay area.

My boyfriend and I are looking to get on a team this season but don't really know where to start.

Live in Oakland but would go to SF if we have to to join a gay softball team. Any info is very much appreciated!

Thanks for the link. -- I didn't have much luck with a web page I found last year, (emailed them and never heard back) but it was not this one, at least I don't think it was. Will have to take a closer look at it when I get out of work tonight. anywho thank you.

No, but my (former) men's group, Regular Guys, sponsored a team in the recreattional division for several years. Gay softball leagues have their good and bad aspects; there's way too much "drama", but since you're part of a couple you'll be able to avoid some of that. wink

yeah thanks again, after looking at the web sight a bit more I have determined it was the same one I tried last time I was looking into this and never heard back from. I guess I will just try again and see what happens.

I am heading over to SF this weekend so maybe I will do some asking around in the castro and see what info I can uncover.

sparty, if they don't answer you the first time, keep trying -- chances are that link is to the e-mail of the league commissioner, whose e-mail tends to get a hundred or so messages about league business in a week. probably just an honest miss.
