Theo's team (a.k.a. Boston Red Sox) are playing at Citizens Bank Park in May 2006. A few people (including one or two out of towners) have expressed interested in seeing one of these games.
The dates are Friday May 19th and Saturday May 20th - both games are at 7:05 PM. I am not including the Sunday afternoon game, as it will be much more difficult to get tickets to that game.
Which game are you interested in seeing? As the pre-sale for season ticket holders starts the second week of February, we need to decide on a game and # of tickets we are purchasing by Friday (2/3).

Either night is okay with me -- whatever works for the out-of-towners would be best, obviously.

Reminder - deadline to say you want to attend is tomorrow so I can get tickets next week.

So, did the out-of-towners decide to come in for this weekend? I just thought of this because I'm watching a telecast of the Boston Bruins game and they ran a Southwest Airlines ad for Philly, $59 fare one-way.

A good time was had this weekend in Philly, despite the Phillies losing 2 out of 3. Phillyrunner, JIP, Chill-Trick and I attended Friday night's game, and Chill-Trick and I attended Saturday and Sunday's game.
Saturday afternoon Chill-Trick got to be a tourist, and walk around Philly. The city was overrun by the Red Sox nation. The crowd at the ballpark was about 1/3 Red Sox fans, and walking around the city Saturday afternoon all we saw were tourists wearing Red Sox shirts and jerseys. When I went to buy a bottle of soda, the merchant of a corner store told me there would be no charge and the soda was on him, as I made his day because I was the first person he had seen all day wearing a Phillies shirt!
