What a finish to that game! And Terrence Long, a pretty terrible outfielder (as he showed by playing Damon's hit into a triple), takes the game-winner away.

If Barry Z outpitches Lowe tonight, I see two AL West teams in the playoffs. Perhaps even if he doesn't.

I was watching the BoSox/A's game here in Seattle, and was hoping that was going to be a homerun in the 9th. Long ruined everything!! I don't want to see the A's getting any closer to the M's in the AL west standings. I'm not even looking forward to the A's facing the M's in September. I would like to see the BoSox getting closer to the Yank$ though in the AL east!
