Citing costs and Title IX, BYU decided not to boost their men's soccer club team to DI -- but rather to become a franchise in a national developmental league -- "the competitive equivalent of Class A minor league baseball."

Whst a wonderful idea. Honesty in collegiate sports. It's like an athletic version of the cooperative education program that they had at my alma mater back in the '80's.
And, as a bonus, it's a novel way to circumvent the illegal (and unconstitutional) interpretation of Title IX.
