CNN.com is reporting that police here in DC, are investigating the possibility that skeletal remains found in Rock Creek Park may be those of missing former intern Chandra Levy.

Oh I hope so for her family's sake. I'm sure her parents will be relieved to at least finally know. Not knowing, always wondering must be the worst. Now hopefully they can get enough evidence against Stonewall Condit and throw his scheming ass in jail.

I'm really sorry that she was found this way, but under no stretch of even my own GOPartisan imagination could I think Condit had a hand in it. I know from personal experience with them that DC's public safety departments are notoriously inefficient and essentially unable to police especially difficult areas such as Rock Creek Park, where her bones were found. Whether or not she was killed there, that's where she ended up. The laxity of the DCPD makes its jurisdiction a perfect dumping ground for both criminals and the victims of their crimes of all sorts.
