With a sign demanding the troops be allowed to "finish their mission". But Mr. President, hasn't the mission been accomplished and it's only the liberal media who are pretending there is insurgency in Iraq?

Hey Jeff/Bulldog -Maybe if you enlisted and helped out, the troops could get their "mission" completed in a more timely manner.
Oh wait, you're a republican, all talk no action.
Prefer to cheer from the sidelines.
By the way, what was that "mission" again?

He was one of 400 people there. They were expecting 20,000 people. Oh well. I wonder how much it cost for the Pentagon to hire him out?
BTW, weren't there over 150,000 people at the anti-war rally? Where were all the pro-war jingos? They don't appear to be over in Iraq....

I'm sure the pro war folks must be thrilled to have him behind them.

On a technical note "with" a poster means "beside". His (slightly more attactive) arms are firmly in pocket.

Maybe he was there trying to drum up some more "escort" business! How proud Republicans must be to have him on their side! What a stellar representative of Republican values he is. My goodness, more men like him, I might jump parties. NOT!

A letter in today's SF Chronicle tried to justify the terrible turnout for the prowar rally by saying conservative demonstrations will always have smaller turnouts since conservatives have to work. Bush haters or liberals or whatever today's word is (I am NOT a liberal) all have trust funds.
Damn, here I get up at 4:30 to go to work each day. Never knew I had a trust fund.
