I've read Dumbsfeld's statement twice and it makes no sense whatsoever. Was he drunk or stoned when he said that? It sounds like something a 19-year old who's wasted in his college dorm while listening to Pink Floyd would say.

It's sort of like a philosophical argument of existence. Sort of like proving the chair you think you are sitting in really isn't there...it's only there because you are able to convince yourself that it is there and you convince yourself so well that your body and all of your senses conform to the idea of a chair being there...when it really isn't.
