OK, so I was watching Raiders of the Lost Ark on the tube this afternoon. I always sit through all the credits, and when they reached "Second Unit Director," there he was - Michael Moore.

Could it be?

Well, it's a different Michael Moore. As a child actor, this one appeared in 1919's The Unpainted Woman. This Michael Moore has been an second unit director or assistant director in 61 films, many of which you've seen.

Once again demonstrating how intertwined Hollywood can be, his most recent directing job was on Steven Speilberg's television series, Amazing Stories. Actually what I find much more interesting is that he worked on both Raiders of the Lost Ark and Zorro the Gay blade, which were released in the same year (1981). I though Zorro was much older than that.
