It's Michael Huffington. Remember him? Arianna's ex?

Read the Statement (no mention of the gay thing)

Things could get interesting in California, especially since it seems Michael Savage is mulling over the idea of running as well!

________

"Michael Savage to run
for California governor?

Radio talk-show host, best-selling author considering independent bid in October

Michael Savage, the controversial, nationally syndicated radio talk-show host and best-selling author, is considering a run for California governor in the fall recall election of incumbent Gray Davis.

Gov. Michael Savage?

Savage made the announcement on his radio program last night and is soliciting comments on the idea from his fans on his website."

________

I don't know whether Savage is serious or not, but if he is, this California Governor 'situation' will be very entertaining to say the least!

eek!

Michael Savage is engaged in a publicity stunt.

What could really get this (even more) interesting is that not only will Michael Huffington be running, but so could his ex, Arianna. If both end up running, the movie rights for that story would be bid through the roof.

Best Bill Maher line, ever: Arianna was on Politically Incorrect, and she refrerred to someone as "clueless" ... Maher said "HELLO! You were married to a gay guy for 6 years!"

Gay-Rights Activists Criticize Issa Camp
By Scott Glover

Representatives of two gay-rights groups on Sunday criticized San Diego-area congressman and Republican gubernatorial candidate Darrell Issa for comments made by his campaign manager that some perceived as anti-gay.

I have my own beef with Issa: He's credited with inventing the single most useless invention of our time ... the car alarm! eek! eek!

Think about it ... unless you're within earshot of the vehicle and awake to hear it (or a light sleeper), you won't hear the alarm, so it does you no good if someone actually tries to steal the vehicle. What the "alarm" does, generally, is disturb the neighbors over everything else: thunder, jets flying overhead, gusty winds, windblown shopping carts, bumper taps from parallel parkers, you name it.

I think somebody should recall Issa and make him replace every car alarm on the planet with a Lo-Jack ... at his expense!

(As for Gray Davis, Californians had a chance to get rid of him last year. It's, like, called, y'know, like, an election, dudes! Like, totally, fer sure! wink tongue.gif )
