We certainly need some balance in the religious world. I heard a story on NPR this morning about fundamentalists and their involvement in politics. The audio from a ministers sermon (in New Orleans) talked about the evil homosexuals and gave the statistic that gay men live on average to the age of 43. Ridiculous.
ItJock...itch...scratch...I do not think tolerance is part of Christianity. So perhaps a new religion should be made up to surplant the Christian plague. Would not it be easier to just burn the book and start over. Scientology?
To think I have been doing acts of kindness without subscribing to a faith. To think "God" has not been getting credit for my actions eek!

If they could introduce tolerance to christianity, I think it would be fabulous. I just wished they had called themselves Log Cabin Christians!
