Congratulations to Willie Randolph. I always liked him as a Yankee, player and coach. Time will tell whether he will be a good manager, but it's better for the Mets to give someone new to managing a try as opposed to hiring a perennial failure.

I'm glad we didn't waste the job on a perennial loser like Collins, but Willie Randolph?
I think it sucks to higher a stupid yankee to manage our team. I would have rather taken the chance with Jaramillo. At least he isn't immersed in pinstripes.
