And I guess you missed the point of the article, that these are old laws still on the books, probably made in the 18th and 19th century?
Though I do know that one those on that site is recent--the drug law in NC that says "Persons in possession of illegal substances must pay taxes on them. However, paying taxes on these items does not make them legal." I recall someone paying tax on his marijuana.

Sorry, I didn't include a user's manual for this thread. It's a sort-of spin-off from the sitcom that is Fantomas's recent, urgent thread about a bill that may or may not have been passed in Michigan in 2004 that, had it been or not been passed or signed or not signed into law this year or last, may or may not have caused large groups of gays and lesbians to drop dead in Drs. office waiting rooms.
