Most respondents so far (>50%) consider it "understandable."

I wonder if the response would differ if they had used the word "justifiable."

Yep - its UNDERSTANDABLE (cuz its John Rocker) but not JUSTIFIABLE!

My opinion (given that I would like to see Rocker excommunicated from baseball):

Rocker, his attitude, and his conduct: ultimately unimportant

Our fight for LGBT friendly laws, self-esteem, and education:
critical to our survival and happiness

If Rocker is so unimportant, why are we (we as in the gay community) giving him so much attention? He is trivial and there are bigger battles to fight.
