As an aside, Anthony Romero is the first openly gay executive director of the ACLU and graduated at the same high school as me, one year after.

Good for them and the ACLU! Barr can be a bit obnoxious at times, and his personal life leaves much to be desired, but he'll keep its feet to the fire. Same for Lott, although I think he'll be the greater learner in that situation. The ACLU needs some new blood; it's become way too lockstep liberal!
